What is OWL?
OWL is a non-profit group offering outdoor events and learning workshops for women and youth. We offer a non-intimidating environment full of positive energy, friendly faces, encouraging words with lots of smiles and laughter! Participating in our events is a great way to forge new friendships, share similar interests and learn something new.
OWL's Mission
OWL's mission is to inform and encourage women of all ages to discover, enjoy, and appreciate the outdoors through sporting pursuits and tranquil observations.

Our events are open to all women. Registration is required for our events. Contact us to be added to the mailing list so you will be the first to know!. We are happy to answer all of your questions!
OWL Fun Days
A Fun Day is a one day event that enables you to participate in a variety of activities. Fun Days are held in the spring and the fall in Taneytown, Maryland. It's a great way to try an activity or hone your skills. It will give you a taste of an OWL weekend.
OWL June Weekend
Come for a day or the whole weekend! Our annual event is held at a beautiful farm in Frederick County Maryland and offers a variety of activities, great food, fellowship and lots of laughs! Check our Facebook for pictures from past events - we always have a great time,
rain or shine!

This seminar will cover the topics of situational awareness, pre-attack indicators, and the laws on the use of force in the protection of self and others.
As with all OWL events, there is a hands-on section including 3 stations covering practical aspects of protecting yourself in a dangerous situation.
